Terms of use
What this website does, what it does not do, and who your installation contract is actually with.
Who these terms are with
This website is operated by Progressive Website Development Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 07714132. Using this site means accepting these terms.
What this website does
We provide information about EV charge point installation and arrange for a qualified local installer to quote for and carry out the work.
We are not an electrical contractor and we do not carry out installations ourselves. Any contract for the installation is between you and the installer, not between you and us. Their terms, their guarantee and their insurance apply to that work.
Quotes and prices
Nothing on this site is a quotation or an offer to contract. Prices depend on your property and are given by the installer after a survey.
Any figures produced by the calculators on this site are estimates generated from the numbers you enter. They are illustrative and are not a quotation.
Accuracy of the information here
We take care to keep the technical and regulatory information on this site correct, and we date the pages where the facts change, such as government grant rates.
Regulations, grant schemes and product specifications change. Always check current government guidance before relying on a grant figure, and take the installer's advice on anything specific to your property.
This site does not give legal, financial or electrical advice.
Links to other websites
Where we link to GOV.UK or a manufacturer, we do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Naming a charger brand describes the product. It does not imply that brand endorses us, or that we hold an approval from them unless we say so explicitly.
Our liability
We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Beyond that, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on general information published here, and we are not liable for the workmanship of an installer, which is a matter between you and them under their contract with you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
