Privacy notice
What we do with the details you send us, who sees them, and how long we keep them.
Who we are
This website is operated by Progressive Website Development Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 07714132. We are the data controller for the information you send us through this site.
Registered office address: [confirm before publication].
If we are required to be registered with the Information Commissioner's Office for this processing, our registration number will be published here: [confirm].
What information we collect
Only what you type into the quote form or the enquiry form. There is no account to create, and we do not buy or append data about you from anywhere else.
- Your name
- Your phone number
- The postcode of the property
- What you need, and the property type if you tell us
- Whether you are supplying the charger or want one supplied
- Anything you write in the free-text box
- Your consent to be contacted about the enquiry
Why we can use it
Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box before you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time and we will stop.
Once work is being arranged, our lawful basis for continuing to use your details is that it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who installs your charge point
We are not an electrical contractor. The installation is carried out by a qualified local installer we work with, and your enquiry is shared with that installer so they can survey, quote and complete the job.
Your details go to one installer for that purpose. They are not shared with any other installer, sold, or added to a marketing list by us.
That installer is a data controller in their own right for the work they do for you, and their own privacy terms apply to any contract you enter into with them. You can ask us who they are at any time, and you can ask us not to share your details at all, in which case we will tell you rather than passing them on.
Who else sees it
The form is delivered by a form-handling service, which processes the submission on our behalf under contract. The provider is [confirm], and their privacy terms will be linked here before publication.
If we use website analytics, it is configured so that it does not identify you personally and does not track you across other websites.
We do not sell your data. We do not pass it to lead brokers, marketing lists or data aggregators.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Where work goes ahead, we keep the enquiry for six years, because that is the period in which a contractual claim could arise. [confirm these periods before publication]
You can ask us to delete your details sooner, and we will unless we are required to keep them.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time.
Contact us and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling their helpline.
